- Practice assessment
- Two to three classes daily
15 concerns, each answered with what helps, what a fortnight can and cannot do, and where the evidence stops.
All concerns →Every destination, the season each one is genuinely best in, and the months we would talk you out of.
Open the atlas →The properties the world has actually heard of — and which of them we can book for you.
See them all →A serious daily practice schedule at a third of what the flagship houses charge.
Per person. Sole occupancy is not half a double, and we would rather you saw both now.
What this actually is
A large, genuinely busy daily schedule — vinyasa, yin, Pilates and pranayama — with enough choice that an experienced practitioner and a relative beginner can both fill a day usefully.
It is the affordable one, and that is the point: the format spread from Samui because this house priced a serious programme at a third of the flagship rate.
Read this part twice
Read the right-hand column as carefully as the left. It is the half that decides whether this is a good fortnight or a wasted one, and it is published before the price for that reason.
The shape of it
Days shift according to how you respond — that is the point of a daily review. This is the structure, not a timetable.
Days 1–3
Finding the classes that suit you, and an honest assessment of what your practice can absorb daily.
Days 4–8
Three to four classes a day if you want them, with bodywork twice in the week to keep the load survivable.
Days 9–10
A written home schedule that is realistic about the week you will actually go back to.
A day, hour by hour
Nothing is compulsory. Most guests settle at two classes a day and add a third on good days.
Where you stay
The house that made structured detox and yoga affordable — and the reason Samui became shorthand for the detox holiday.
The detox programmes are built on colon hydrotherapy and juice fasting, and we are on record that the evidence for the former is poor and the risks are real. We list the house for its yoga and its structure, not for the colonics, and we will say so if you ask us to book it.
The full profile →Who looks after you
You will not find a physician's name on this site. Staff move, and a page that names one is a page that quietly goes out of date — worse, it invites you to book a person no house can promise will be on shift. Assignment is made on arrival, from your examination, at every serious property here.
Counted, so you can compare
Most of this industry publishes inclusions as a bulleted list, which cannot be compared between two programmes at two prices. These can.
A very full daily timetable — yoga, pilates, muay thai, meditation and breathwork, all included.
One to one, to correct what a group class cannot see.
Plus a reformer pilates studio, which very few houses at this price have.
The shortest transfer in this atlas, which matters more than it sounds after a long-haul.
The money
Both occupancies in every band, before you enquire rather than after. Sole occupancy is not half a double and never has been — publishing only the sharing rate quotes the minority of this market and surprises the rest.
The length at which a practice changes rather than merely resumes.
