The house
A small agency that has been to every house it sells
Wellness travel is built to sell rooms, and none of these traditions is a room. How a destination earns its place here, what happens on a vetting visit, which houses we can book and which we cannot — and what it costs to book through us, which is nothing.
Why this exists
The idea came from a refund request. A guest had paid for a “seven-night Panchakarma” at a beach resort, been given seven massages, and asked us why she felt no different.
She was right to ask, and the honest answer was uncomfortable: she had been sold a product that used a medical term as a flavour. Nobody had lied outright. The brochure said Panchakarma and she received the massage that precedes it, from therapists who were good at their jobs, at a property that had never claimed to have a physician because nobody had thought to ask.
The failure is structural. A resort earns on occupancy, so every incentive points towards shorter stays, more guests and fewer restrictions. Every one of these traditions runs the other way — longer stays, fewer guests, more restrictions. A hotel cannot sell them properly without arguing against its own economics, and most stop trying.
So we list places and houses rather than inventory, and only where the practice is local, licensed and still alive. Where a famous house is one we cannot book, we say so on its page and earn nothing from it — an atlas that quietly omitted the names everybody asks about would be less useful and less honest.
Founded 2023. Offices in New Delhi. Fourteen people. No outside investment, which is why we can afford to talk people out of things.
How a place earns its page
Two hundred and fourteen visited. 15 listed.
Every property is visited twice, at least once unannounced, by somebody who has completed a programme themselves. Nobody is added on the strength of a press trip.
- 01The paperwork
Registration numbers, therapist qualifications and tenure, pharmacy or spring licences, and the incident log. A property that cannot produce these within a week does not get a visit.
- 02The announced visit
Two nights. We interview the lead clinician for an hour, eat everything, sit in the treatment wing, and ask to see where the medicines are made. Refusing that has ended three assessments.
- 03The unannounced one
Six to twelve weeks later, in a colleague's name, in low season. This is where properties diverge — same therapists or agency staff, same physician or a locum.
- 04The guests
We speak to six past guests we found ourselves, not the six offered to us. Then we re-audit annually, and remove without notice.
The other half
We are the wellness house of TripClub
Which sounds like a corporate footnote and is actually the whole difference. A pure wellness agency sells you the fortnight and leaves you to solve the country it happens in. We sell the journey.
- 1
Flights ticketed on our own desk, held with the programme rather than bought separately weeks later
- 2
Airport transfers, drivers and internal connections arranged by people who run them daily
- 3
Leisure and touring either side of the stay, in the same booking and on one invoice
- 4
One team on the phone for the whole trip, not a wellness specialist who hands you to nobody at the airport
Flights, ticketed by us
On our own desk rather than a link to somebody else's. That means the fare is held alongside the programme rather than bought weeks later at whatever is left, the routing is chosen for the transfer at the other end, and when weather closes Paro or Dehradun there is somebody whose job it is to rebook you.
How the flight desk works →Leisure, on request, correctly timed
Every destination page carries what there is to see — and, more usefully, whether it belongs before the programme, after it, or on a rest day. Booking a temple tour for day nine of a Panchakarma is how people quietly ruin a Panchakarma, and it is the one thing an excursions list never tells you.
See what each place offers →Extensions, on one invoice
45 multi-night add-ons across the atlas — the Golden Triangle after Kerala, the cultural triangle before Sri Lanka, Alsace after Baden-Baden. Same booking, same reference, same phone number.

What it costs to book through us
Nothing. Not as a slogan — as a policy you can hold us to, and one you can check with a phone call to the property before you pay us anything.
| The question | The answer |
|---|---|
| Is it cheaper direct? | No. The programme rate is the same or better through us, and we will confirm that in writing before you pay. If you find the same room, the same programme and the same dates cheaper direct, tell us and we will match it or tell you to book direct — there is no third option that leaves us looking good. |
| Is the consultation free? | Yes, and it is not a sales call. Thirty minutes with the clinical desk, nothing booked and nothing paid at the end of it — and quite often a recommendation to go somewhere we do not sell at all. |
| Do you charge a booking fee? | No. No booking fee, no admin fee, no card surcharge, and no fee for changing a date before the property's own deadline. |
| Can a property pay to appear here? | No, ever. No paid placement, no sponsored ranking, no advertising anywhere on this site, and no property has reviewed or approved a word of these pages. The caveat on every house was written without asking them. |
| What about flights and extensions? | Quoted separately and itemised — you see the fare, the transfer and the extension as their own lines rather than folded into one number. Take the programme without them if you would rather book flights yourself; the programme price does not change. |
| When is the price fixed? | At the written quote, which is held for seven days. Every figure on this site before that point is illustrative and says so, in both occupancies and every season, so the written quote should contain no surprises. |
