At a glance
Who this house is for
Someone who wants to practise yoga and be taught, not treated: a beginner who wants a timetabled programme, or a practitioner considering a 200-hour training. The 5-day page says its retreat suits 'beginners or professional yoga teachers'. Anyone who needs a doctor on site or treatment for a diagnosis should look elsewhere.
The signature
The 200 Hour Hatha Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training: 25 days, 'intimate groups of 15 to 20 students' and RYT-200 certification, from 649 USD without a room.

What it is known for
Why this house has the reputation it has
- The home page calls it 'an RYS 200, RYS 300, and RYS 500 registered yoga school' with Yoga Alliance USA. The 200-hour course is 25 days.
- All three retreat pages publish a timed schedule for every day, though they note the order of classes may change. On the 7-day page most days run from a 05:30 wake-up to lights off at 22:00, with a 04:00 wake-up on day four to see the sunrise.
- The teachers page has thirteen profiles, each with qualifications and years of experience. Four list E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance; others include a PhD in Yoga Science and an MSc in Yoga Education.
- The booking page asks for a 20% deposit and adds 6% for PayPal. On the 5- and 7-day retreats the deposit is non-refundable and the balance is paid on arrival.
Worth knowing before you choose
This is a yoga teacher-training school, not a clinic: there is no medical consultation, and the retreats' Ayurveda is limited to an introductory workshop or a massage. The 20% deposit on the 5- and 7-day retreats is non-refundable. Ask us where the retreat rooms are in relation to the training campus.
